HRIC provides critical resources for civil society actors to support the promotion and exercise of fundamental rights protected under international law, including the rights to freedom of thought and expression, to peaceful assembly and association, and to equality before the law. Through compilation of bilingual charts of mainland Chinese and Hong Kong SAR laws, HRIC also aims to provide accessible resources for critical assessments of the impact of these laws on the exercise of fundamental rights online and offline.
